Why does this technology not exist?

I want a social government. A website where I can see all bills that affect me from local level to the federal level. A place I can voice my opinion on issues but in a simple concise interface. I want an bill displayed with a summary and points for and points against written by the different sides of the argument. Where I would then be polled for my opinion. We should make participating in government easy and interesting. 

You would not only be able to see the poll results, but if you are being represented by the politicians in office all the way up to the president. On voting day you would be given simple instructions of where your polling location is and what issues are on the ballot. You could get reminders in your email about voting and to request your time off.

The website would be setup similar to Wikipedia in that it would rely on volunteers to submit the bills and legislation. The community would verify the validity of the arguments and information. It is much less of a task than Wikipedia because the number of bills is finite where as Wikipedia is not.

We need the masses so partnering with a social network might be possible. There are lots of options. 

We need to go on the offensive starting in this election. We need to take back our government. 

Action steps:

1. Setup a nonprofit. 

2. Setup a website. (LOL easier said than done)

3. ???

4. Be Represented.

The elections this year will be won by the young generation. Let’s be a force to reckon with.
